Both have eaten the canvas several times in their careers against non-punchers and fighters with low KO percentages. But who's chin is better?
Wilder would not in a million years be put on the canvas by Pajkic or a blown up Cruiser called Cunningham :deal
Fury has been put down hard by none punches but got back up to win. Wilder has fought one live body in his entire career and has still been wobbled by the like of Molina. Think both might have suspect jaws but think Furys is slightly better.
Yes, of course he would. You are comparing a former crusierweight champ to a carnival fat man, and it is stupid.
Fury has the better chin, slightly. Although i think more importantly fury has much quicker recovery rate. You wobble wilder he is guna be wobbly for the next couple of rounds if he hasnt already been stopped. Fury can shake the haze off a fair bit quicker.
I don't think Fury's chin is bad. When he fought Chisora in the first fight he took some good shots. When he got put down by Cunningham he was off balance (too square on). Against the other guy he just walked onto that punch. And both times he got up and was fine. Wilder's chin looks weak!
Truth of the matter here is everybody is wrong. Except me! Bottom line is they both have suspect chins but you cannot tell for sure just going off what you have see so far...its a moot discussion. Take Khan for example....most consider him to have the best china for his chin....and you'd have good reason for thinking so. Yet on another day in another fight ie vs Maidana he survived hell...and yes almost got stopped but he didn't he rode through the storm and won a clear points win over the most feared puncher in the division then @ 140. Then another time ie recently he looked hurt a few times buy a patter cake puncher in Algeri ! You just can't say on these things for 100% certainty..but then again that goes for a lot of forum discussions! I think one punch that can KO you can be a lesser punch that you were able to take earlier in the fight or than if you saw it coming! The ones that you don't see get you! Or you've been worn down by accumulation. In the case of Fury / Wilder here these were either flash KDs or one punch that they didn't see coming and weren't really hurt that much....at least that Sconiers one with Wilder - he barely touched the canvas....it was nothing but much is made of it.
