Mayweather as I have seen him use The shoulder roll, a high guard and classic movement in different fights. 3 styles.

Mayweather. I think Hopkins is a very good defensive fighter, but he's also pretty overrated the way I see it. I see him as more of a crafty spoiler than someone with the technical pedigree (at least defensively) that Mayweather has. I don't see Hopkins as any better defensively than a guy like Emile Griffith in an all time sense.

I think Hopkins' defence focuses on the strengths of his opponents and how he acts against it really throws his opponents off their gameplan completely, nullifying it almost(see fights with Pavlik and Tito for examples) which is as dominant as your defence can be. Floyd's is based around his reflexes, he doesn't try to nullify the opponent's gameplan, he just overcomes it due to his physical superiority (see Gatti, Hatton and Corrales). So, Hopkins has the ringcraft and tactics, Mayweather has the reflexes and physical capabilities, so it depends what you prefer. I'm more a fan of Hopkins' defence.
