cottos is better but he doesnt throw it "technically better" floyd is superior technically compared to cotto...cotto is much tougher and stronger than floyd...but technically better shows ur ignorance to the sport

 

I actually never seen Floyd throw a left hook. I see him only shoulder rolling and following up by right hands.

 

you didnt see floyd throw his left hook against hatton? where were you? or how bout floyd leading with the left hook in many of his fights instead of his jab..

 

What could Cotto do to "technically" improve his left hook?

Money uses his left hook like a jab. Connect percentage is not even close Money is almost 50%. Cotto does nothing better then Money. But Cotto is a beast Mayweather is just a different dude his talent speaks for its self.

 

I agree however in volume; while Mayweather is faster and catches people not expecting it which imo has more effect.

I like Cottos left against Judah though.

Floyd may be better technically and skill-wise overall, but in the contest of left hooks Cotto throws his the proper way with a correct 90% angle, turning over the elbow to produce the proper arch or hooking of the arm. Floyd on the other hand tends to drop his elbow at times which takes a little power off the punch since you're not turning over the arm the proper way when you do that.
