The Bradley-Alexander bout will clear this up a bit obviously, but as of now who has the better ring record, Khan or Bradley?

I actually think Khan and Bradley are pretty close in terms of their ring record/competition faced and beat.

    Andriy Kotelnik UD
    Paul Malignaggi TKO11
    Marcus Maidana UD
    Marco Antonio Barrera TD5

    Lamont Peterson UD
    Kendall Holt UD
    Junior Witter SD12
    Edner Cherry UD
    Luis Abregu UD

If I put them in order, it would be something like this:

I put Kotelnik top because although he's a good style match-up for Khan, he's a top-5ish guy in the division and Khan dominated him.

I think Holt was a bad style match-up for Bradley, and Timmy struggled early before showing good adjustment (plus Holt seeming to lose interest)to come back and get the win.

Maidana was a bad style match-up for Khan, but I rate it below some of the others because it ended up being quite close in the end (as I said it would pre-fight, even though a lot thought Khan would dance his way to a wide UD).

Bradley. Khan beating Maidana makes it close but Timmy still has the better wins.

I still think you have the Witter win too low, it's the best win there for me. Junior was still at the top of his game when they had that fight, and Bradley came to his home town and took the title away.

Good comparison. Very hard to choose. I'd actually put it as very even for me, but seeing as I'm a Khan fan, I'll choose Khan in the poll ;)

I agree. Beating Witter on the road has got to be at least as good as beating Kotelnik at home IMHO.

The Witter win is getting really underrated. Witter was no.2 in the division, had home advantage and Bradley was making a massive step up in class. He handled it brilliantly.

Barrera and Abregu shouldn't be included if we're strictly talking 140 credentials :good

I wouldn't put Kotelnik above Maidana either. Maidana was more of a test for Khan personally, regardless of whether Kotelnik/Maidana's levels are close (which proved to be the case in their fight). However, Maidana proved he could test Khan much further. I'd put that level with Witter. I certainly don't see how thats worse than Kendall Holt.

    Maidana/Witter
    Kotelnik
    Peterson
    Holt
    Malignaggi
    Abregu
    Cherry/Barrera

I see what you are all saying about Witter, but in my eyes Witter looked like he'd really lost a step in that fight, and what he's done since then has really made me change my mind - he looked even worse against Alexander.

I also see what you are saying about winning away from home, but it was a tight decision (close but clear IMO - no doubt Bradley won it, despite the official SD verdict). Conversely, Khan, despite being at home, dominated Kotelnik, which I don't think anyone has done - not Witter, not Maidana, not Alexander. That's why I rank it higher.

Anyone care to have a go at ranking these fights apart from TFFP (hats off)? Its not easy:D

TBH I thought people would be having more of a go for me ranking the Malignaggi win so low.

Personally for me it's Bradley. He's fought champion in the backyard and unified titles against a fellow champion at weight within second defence. He's been commanding in each fight and even has Nate Campbell down as a moral victory because he was well on his way to victory imo.

If we have Abregu and Barrera on list then add Miguel Vazquez current IBF Lightweight Champion.

I go with fact Bradley's beaten all types of fighters from solid champions to vets to contenders and done it well. He's beaten a variety of styles and if he beats Alexander then it sets bar even higher.

140 or not 140 I think the fact that the MAB win has had to be pressed into action on Kahns behalf says a lot......

    Here's my go at it.

    Witter
    Kotelnik
    Maidana
    Holt
    Peterson
    Malignaggi
    Abregu
    Cherry
    Barrera

I'm really close on Maidana/Holt. Not sure which one to put first on that.

I always forget about that one, that's a solid win, should be here too
