    Hatton by miles

Cotto faced no "real" champions at 140 (my definition of real)

I would still love to see a Hatton vs Cotto fight. I think it would be a FOTY

in my quote I was refering to the hatton fight not in kt general career... every great fighter has a turning point and this was his reaching point where he finally realized is time to hang up the gloves, you could see it in the fight... my quote above was to answer your question about paulie and kt...

So what you are saying is that Hatton made Kosta

(the champ) quit, finished him - made him quit on his stool - which he did?

Tszyu KO'ed Shambra Mitchell just six months earlier.

    Hatton.

Cotto's resume is now superior, but it's his wins over Mosley, Judah, and Quintana that have allowed him to pass Hatton's resume.

At 140lbs Ricky became the true and linear champion, Cotto was a meaningless title-holder.

Kosta finished him quicker then Paul Williams, and Floyd Mayweather did at a later date!

good point... like I said mitchell was not a threat esp. when he fights guys on another level you could see what the outcome would most likely be... different weight classes werent they? we know some fighters feel more comfortable at other weights and perform better...
