Follow-up question, if Inoue beat Junto, how would that stack up to Beterbiev's victory over Bivol (which I consider to be legitimate for the record)?

The edge goes to AB as he's fought more dangerous boxers. Guys with ko power.
Otherwise inoue has a longer resume and always will because AB started his pro career very late.

How he defeats him plus what Nakatani adds on to his resume post-fight would change that a lot.

A powerful no question KO win or a Donaire I style UD or close SD/MD? Also does Nakatani continue on to clean out 122 after his loss to Inoue?

It's not really about the nature of the victory tbh, more about how Bivol and Junto compare as P4P talents. Junto is still in his prime though so one would assume that if Inoue beat him without controversy then he would continue to beat his best contemporaries.

IDK I'll always respect higher weight fighters more unless there's a massive discrepancy in quality of names.

Nonito was stopped by freaking Walters. Nonito was at one point technically skilled. But he could honestly pass for a Thai lady boy if you put him in drag. Plus he was past his prime.

Compare that to the complete monsters that AB has had to fight.

Nicholas Walters was excellent at the time, before all the promotional BS, and it was above Donaires best weight, at an obvious low point in his career…

Gvozdyk and Nonito are comparable wins, at that point in Nonitos career he was as dominant a force in the division as Gvozdyk was, smashing everyone except the very best.

..and again, I’m a critic of Inoue’s resume, and think it’s fairly weak with old man Donaire being his best win. All these little guys being “competitive” with each other doesn't make it a strong division. History will hardly remember anyone on Inoue's resume, and it’s not just because they’re small…. After all, Inoue and Donaire will certainly be remembered and talked about.

Inoues resume is much deeper but Beterbiev obviously boasts the best win

I’m probably one of the biggest Beterbiev fans on here but who are these monsters he’s fought

You do know he was known as a cracking puncher at the weight right? And again…. Was bigger as well.

Gvozdyks one of the most overrated fighters on this forum and he’s also the only fighter worth a damn on Beterbievs whole resume other than Bivol. Joe Smith Jr? Is that some kind of sick joke? Cause if he was a random bantam or fly that Inoue fought you’d call him a cab driver. It’s funny cause Smith Jr would also be hands down the worst champ on Inoue’s resume besides Kono and you’re propping him up as one of Beterbievs signature scalps. Neither is a monster or anything close to it.
