    Cheers for the reply mate.

    He'd been expressing these (backward) views long before he became world champion. The media only really latched onto them after he became world champion. That's the bit that does my head in. I'm having a pop at the media.

    I think they find our culture as baffling as we find theirs. There's ignorance from both sides imo.

    Anyway, apologies for derailing the thread. Back to two brilliant fighters.

    Yeah sorry mate derailed the thread a bit waffling about gypsies. Think fury was just more in the spotlight after winning the title. I was as frustrated as anyone...because i m a believer in people are entitled to their opinions regardless of what they are...but he kind of killed himself as a hero with it. Its hard to blame anyone else.

    He is a legitimate champion because he beat the previous champion. The fact he never defended it is irrelevant.

    Thankfully the sport doesn't have other 'legitimate' champions like this and we have fighters who defend there titles
