Who has the better wins froch or khan

Froch and it aint even close!

 

Froch ahead by a couple of wins and also he has faced slightly higher level of opposition.

Froch

Pascal - 4/5 - great fight, against a big and fast SMW. Pascal later becomes LHW champ showing his worth.

abraham 3/5 - good win, but against small basic MW although has big punch and was favoured by many, cant see why, when Dirrell dominated until he bitched out.

taylor - 2.5/5 - another good win considering how close the fight was and the manner and timing of the KO - but Taylor was damaged goods. Froch got the W, but didnt look that great doing it, also he was defending his title, abroad - so he gets props for doing that.

glenn johnson - 4/5 Very dangerous tough guy and Froch won it well. Even though Johnson is old, he has showed he still is a very dangerous puncher especially for smaller SMW.

direll - 3/5 - Boring fight, but Dirrell is very awkward and didn't want to engage. To get the W was maybe a bit lucky. But it counts as a win, and to have Dirrell on your resume will look much better in a few years.

khan

maidana - 4.5/5 The most dangerous fighter at 140 who many thought Khan would avoid. He got rcoked but came through for a clear win, also had Maidana rolling around in agony and wouldve had him out in 1 had the bell not saved him. Maidana is limited, but this win deserves high rating.

malinaggi - 3/5 Feather fisted, but a very good technical display from Khan.

judah - 3/5 - Old Judah, but still many thought his most difficult opponent at 140 so far. Khan breezes this fight.

kotelnik - 4/5 - Khan on his bike a lot in this fight. But he came through it well and won his WBA strap here. Kotelnik reckoning has gone up after this fight, for what he did against Alexander. Kotelnik also has a close decision win over Maidana.

berara - 1/5 - Bull**** fight. Typical Warre

farce with the referee and doctors colluding to give Khan a premature W. Old Barrera was over sized/ over matched and would have lost, but the fight was meaningless other than it was a 2nd comeback fight after presscott against a former legend.

I'd say Froch just about, though the margin isn't as great as people would like to believe.

Pascal isn't that good really. His flaws are massive.

Plus the fact he didn't really 'beat' Dirrell counts against him.

But that said I struggle to give Khan much credit for beating Malignaggi and Barrera.

So its more Kotelnik, Maidana and Judah against Pascal, Abraham, Taylor, Johnson so Froch just edges it out with one more win.

 

Those wins I compared against each other are pretty similar.

Kotelnik - Abraham, both limited fighters. What you see is what you get. Kotelnik is very straight up and robotic, but is overall a better boxer than Abraham who just throws massive punches.

Judah - Johnson - Both older guys, that essentially lose most of their biggest fights but have the potential to be dangerous.

Maidana - Pascal - I consider these wins pretty level.

Both guys have good wins away from home but Khan isn't given the same amount of credit for fights abroad.
That said, I'd say Froch shades it with the better wins at this time.
