Who Has The Better Workrate: Williams or Calzaghe?

Calzaghe easily.

He had to fight like a machine in the 2nd half of both the Hopkins and Kessler fights to win.

I think Hopkins beat Calzaghe, but credit where due!

 

Williams...I was so impress of his performance against Wright ...He peppered Wright all night long from all angles...Also throwed great strong body shots...He throwed a lot of power shots in this fight and and did'nt look tired even a little bit after the fight...The guy has insane stamina...

 

Calzague slaps only...Williams throw power shots in bunches...It takes much more energy to throw power shots one after the other than little slaps...

 

Exactly. Talk about splitting hairs :-(


Calzaghe cause he still had insane stamina into his mid 30s. Remains to be seen how Williams' holds up

Williams has the far better technique and variety on his shots. Someone should drag up the compubox numbers for Calzaghe and Williams if they are available....

 

JC for me, let's see if Williams is throwing that many punches when he hits Calzaghe's age. Then again I would say he hits harder than JC as well. I'm still going with JC though based purely on consistency.

Calzaghe expends more energy due to his constant leg movement and still keeps kicking at a tremendous pace. I'd give him the edge.
