Who has the bigger fan base?

    Fury, Joshua or Canelo? Fury and Joshua pack out stadiums a lot more regularly than Canelo does but that’s mainly because Canelo would rather fight in Vegas, not because he can’t pack out stadiums. I was shocked by how massive an event the Canelo Vs Saunders fight was. Especially when you realise fans from the UK couldn’t even travel to watch it due to Covid. So it’s might impressive how big of a crowd he got in there. However, having said that, I think Fury is the winner out of the three. Even if we forget the fact he packed our a 63,000 seater stadium, in the middle of winter, whilst half his fans were in Qatar for the World Cup, while fighting Chisora, who everyone knew he was going to beat. He is still probably the biggest name and draw in the world. That title I think did belong to Joshua at one point. But Usyk has de railed Joshua’s status as the biggest draw in boxing.

    Clenelo by a landslide. Almost every Mexican roots for him and he has a lot of fans around the world too.

    Joshua and Fury are not really popular at all if we talk about a fanbase. Joshua and Fury can sell out big stadiums (so can Clenelo though) but that doesn't mean they have a big fanbase.

    Joshua and Fury have more world wide fans. Fury has loads of fans in the USA and Joshua has lots of fans in the Middle East. Canelo however has never fought outside of the USA so he hasn’t proven that there is any interest over seas.

    It will be between Canelo and Joshua.
    And depending on what percentage of Nigerians support Joshua, his fan base may potentially dwarf that of even Canelo.

    I don't see how you can put joshua over fury, fury packs out the house even when fighting low tier opponents

    I don't think Canelo is as popular as we've been led to believe. DAZN at one point would only approve certain opponents for him. The Bivol fight sold poorly and the last GGG fight didn't do great numbers.

    AJ's popularity took a hit since the Ruiz loss. The Wilder fights helped Fury.

    McGregor is still the most popular across all combat sports.

    Canelo essentially has a country behind him.

    Between Joshua and Fury you only have to look at who has a sponsorship with lucozade and who is selling his drinks on Instagram. That being said the gap is certainly a whole lot closer than it ever has been.

    Honestly I'd still say Joshua as even after back to back losses he could/ will still sellout a stadium, when fighting any half decent opponent next time out I'm sure. Not so sure Canelo or Fury would do the same under such circumstances.
