I have seen all the fights you mentioned above but its personal opinion for example pacman in the first morales fight i tought it was great, same as marquez in the first pacman fight, all the others too, etc, but the background of the arce fight made me think like the best one, he was just going out of "bigbrother mexico" he was hyped by the mexican press because of his personality, etc, he was arrogant and a lot of people in mexico wanted him to loosed fot that because they said he was made from televisa(mexican monster tv), etc, and he just shut all the mouths(mine too), he was literally getting ****ed with such a cut like he had in that fight, people actually were screaming "please stop the fight"(where i was watching it) and he just never gave up, he still was coming forward like a ****ed up warrior with such a big heart and he got the win with a great ko, maybe i am biased beacause i wanted him to loose and he shut my mouth and got all my respects but you know its just mho...

Yeah I get you, all have their view. Looks like this one had drama surrounding it before the fight which made it great, pretty much like Foreman/Ali even though that fight wasn't as exciting as this one but usually drama/hype/talk makes a fight look far better than it is and when it's action packed after a lot of drama then that goes way up. Thanks for sharing the information about how Arce was viewed by the Mexican public before the fight, I never knew that. :good

King Arthur Abraham. His 1st fight vs. Miranda was the most brutal I've ever seen live on TV and his unwillingness to give up was both beyond human and beyond rational.

Surely, you don't think Cotto quit b/c he was scared? He quit because he knew he couldn't win and if he were to continue he'd be putting his health in danger for the purpose of staying in the fight ten seconds longer before Margo KO's him and gives him brain damage.

Cotto is one of the toughest sobs I've ever seen. To not lose heart in the Margo fight until he really couldn't continue (at some points in that fight you can't believe Cotto's still fighting back), to fight with that nasty cut they way he did against Clottey.

Also, how about Abraham for fighting with his jaw hanging off his face

I'm still amazed watching the Vazquez-Marquez fights.

Its probably not that popular but is anyone going to mention Margarito? He was getting killed against Mosley but would not quit.

Having a broken jaw against Cotto and barely surviving deserves a honorable mention...

Wanting to quit, and then going on shows the biggest heart of all.

Among proven active elite fighters, Pacquiao & Marquez come to mind.

There are too many retired warriors to mention but I will give a quick shout out to Frazier, Ali, Arguello, Chavez, Chacon & Morales.
