Its pretty clear who Mr Arum beleives has the brightest future of these two but who really does ??? Thoughts.......................
Bright as in being more accomplished or being a star? Because if its being a star hands down its JML, the PR fanbase is much larger, bigger and more dedicated to its fighters than the Cuban fanbase, and neither of them really has that appeal to the mainstream either since neither speaks English.
I suppose im getting at being more acomplished !!!! thats what i would consider bright as oppose to the star quality out of the ring .
Gamboa needs to step up to the plate. I hope he still fights out in Primm if he ever comes back to Vegas.
Well either way JML is so ahead of Gamboa in terms of accomplishment right now. The only way Gamboa can get ahead is to fight and beat JML.
Thats because Juanma has been a pro 2 years longer than Gamboa , i think it would be fair to say that if Gamboa this time in 2 years was a world champion with 6 defences under his belt you'd be hardly suprised !!!!!
Although a somewhat porous defense, Gamboa's style is explosive and fan friendly. Juanma's methodical style is almost tedious compared to Yuri's-- right? Let's see how Gamboa does against the Tanzanian. My guess is that Gamboa takes him out decisively in the early rounds. Sorry P.R., this ain't your next Wilfredo or Tito.
