Which fighter has the closet chance to take the KO of the year award from Martinez? I know a lot of people are gonna say Maidana, but I think Khan will be hard to catch so I'm goin with Abraham because he has power and Froch like to stand in front of figthers and I think that a NO NO against this guy.

I don't see anyone outperforming that shot. Not since Tarver-Jones II was there such a shock one punch KO at the biggest stage. There were several memorable punches this year, and my favorite is Banks-Walker, and the very weekend produced another specatcular one punch KO (Jhonny Gonzalez vs. Santos Marimon), plus there's Sexton-Ahmed, Wlad-Chambers, Pirog-Jacobs and Frenkel vs. poor Enzo. But the level Maravilla scored the KO at might make it knockout of the decade.

    Banks - Walker:

I don't see it happening but with Marquez vs Katsidis and Froch vs Abraham, it could happen.

Arthur Abraham, if he knocks out Carl Froch with a brutal left hook that leaves Froch unconscious in a corner, with his leg twitching.

Other than that, I don't see anyone making it.

It'd be hard to top Martinez's KO of Williams. Totally unexpected, brutal and conclusive in a fight on a higher level than the other mentioned candidates.

Yes i agree, its not only knock out itseft (which was really nice) but also level of fight and how unexpected outcome like this were.
