Calzaghe looked awful against Hopkins.

I don't care about "big names". I'm talking about quality.

Kessler was/is a very good fighter, in his prime, and #2 at the weight.

I rarely ever buy that "he's scared of so and so" stuff. There's always more to it, and management plays a big role in whom a fighter fights.

Yes, and an impressive win over prime Kessler is a better win for Calzaghe than the win over geezer Hopkins when Calzaghe looked awful and hardly landed anything clean.

 

I'm a massive Calzaghe fan, but I just cant find a way to give it to Joe. Tito was a ****ing stud and fought a real high level of opposition. Trinindad hands down, as much as it pains me to say because I never liked Tito after he beat my favorite all time fighter in David Reid.

Tito by a mile... Who did Joe C beated?? Specially outside of the UK??? Tito by a mile, he always wanted to be the best and fight the best at all cost without even considering the risks.

 

Damn this is one-sided. I agree with Tito, maybe it's common sense, but I thought it would be a lot closer.

 

The Kessler win for Calzaghe gets downplayed to a massive extent. Kessler is a serious, good fighter. There is no reason to shrug that off.
