Tszyu was better in his prime but no doubt Hatton will be ranked higher. Mainly for the hype and obviously because he beat him, prime or not, history is often remembered without circumstance.

I'm sure I've noticed you making excellent posts in the MMA Forum (at least I think it was you), but to be honest I'm blown away by what an absolutely
    This content is protected
comparison that is!!!! I genuinely think this may be
    This content is protected
post I've ever seen from a non-moron poster!!!!!

You would compare Kostya Tszyu in 2005 to...

    ...Muhammad Ali in 1981... :nut...

    ...Mike Tyson in 2004... :nut:nut.......

or (most crazily of the three crazy crazy comparisons)...

    ....ROBERTO DURAN in 1998!!!.... :nut:nut:nut:dead

I would think this post was a joke if your tone was not so serious
    This content is protected
    .

I will try to convey why I think this is so...

Muhammad Ali in 1981 vs Trevor Berbick

    - Had lost to
    This content is protected
a couple of years earlier, and been
    This content is protected
in his previous fight by Larry Holmes.

    - Ali first came to world title prominence in 1964 (
    This content is protected
) and his peak performances were in 1966-67 (
    This content is protected
    ).

Thus, it's clear that Muhammad was LIGHT YEARS from his prime. He was NOWHERE in the pound-for-pound rankings at the time of the Berbick fight because he lost to a guy like Spinks (who wouldn't have laid a glove on the 60s Ali or won a round vs the early-mid 70s Ali) then got stopped by Holmes (who was not a puncher like guys who failed to stop Ali like Foreman, Shavers and Liston).

Mike Tyson in 2004 vs Danny Williams

    - Hadn't beaten a top 10 heavyweight since 1996 (
    This content is protected
    ).

    - Hadn't lasted the distance in his last 3 fights against top comp (Holyfield x2 and Lewis), failed to win a round against his last top opponent (Lewis)

    - Tyson first came to world title prominence in 1986 (
    This content is protected
) and his peak performances were in 1987-88 (
    This content is protected
    )

Thus, it's clear that Tyson was LIGHT YEARS from his prime. He was NOWHERE in the pound-for-pound rankings at the time of the Williams fight. After being knocked out by Williams (a fighter who wouldn't have lasted a round with him in his prime), he was stopped by Kevin McBride (a fighter who wouldn't have lasted a minute with him in his prime).

Roberto ****ing Duran in 1998 vs William Joppy :)lol:)

    - Was
    This content is protected
    !!!!!!!

    - Hadn't fought for a major world title in
    This content is protected

    - Was
    This content is protected
above his natural and best fighting weight

    - In the 90s he had already lost
    This content is protected
fights: to the merely decent Pat Lawlor (stopped in 6), Vinny Pazienza (twice), a past-prime Hector Camacho and Jorge Castro

    - Duran first came to world title prominence in 1972 (
    This content is protected
) and his peak performances were in 1974-80 (
    This content is protected
    )

Thus, it's clear that Duran was MILLIONS UPON BILLIONS of LIGHT YEARS away from his prime. He was NOWHERE in the pound-for-pound rankings, and NOWHERE in the middleweight or supermiddleweight rankings either.

Now, compare this lot to Kostya Tszyu in 2005 vs Ricky Hatton

    - Tszyu was

    - In Tszyu's

    - The

As I said in the post, I was aware of a possibility of sarcasm, but your tone seemed so serious!

Still, a bizarre and crazy post from you!

Collazo is a good fighter, and he held an alphabet belt, but when the decision went Hatton's way, there were at least 4 or 5 better welters than Luis.Besides,if you saw the fight, you would have seen that Luis should have gotten the nod.The funny part is at the end,Hatton was absolutely REELING against light punching welter Collazo.

Tzyue was a bad bad man. Hatton may have beaten the older version of him but Tzyue will still be considered to only be behind JCC and Pryor at 140.
