    That is tough.

Once has a questionable chin and the other has a questionable heart.

You can't fix either but you can learn to protect you chin, not your heart.

Ortiz has more going for him. Power, good speed, skill. Khans overrated skills are terribly amateurish. Every opponent he faces from now is going in their KNOWING a solid left hook to his chin will do the job. And Khan from here on goes into every fight terrified of that happening and this will affect the way he fights and inhibit him massively.

There's more hope for Ortiz i think if he gets a new team behind him. He's a level above Khan.

Khan because he is much bigger name, has much more expectation because of his amateur pedigree and olympic status

Ortiz. Khans shown massive heart getting back after people after being hurt, Ortiz bottles it too much.

Ortiz has the longer road because he's quite twice and shown a temper.

however, it's hard to be a consistent great fighter if you get hit and can't recover....Ortiz, I don't know how far he'll go...

in fact, I don't expect either to go far in a "future great" kind of way...simply exciting fighters where you know a knockout or quitting is going to happen (either them or their opponent)

I think both guys are done in terms of being considered elite. They way these guys are being beat, I think their durability and confidence has been will be shattered from now on... especially Khan's

Khan has a longer road back and if he takes the immediate rematch with Garcia it will end his career. He needs to go back to the drawing board and have a few domestic level fights, a rematch with Prescott should be the most dangerous option even considered at this point.

I definitely agree here. Khan has the longer road, because honestly he fell further. Khan is the bigger star internationally, although from an in the ring standooint Khan still is more behind. Ortiz at least fought Mayweather, has the better power and chin... he'll be able to bounce back because he can knock out or hurt anyone from 140-154. Khan doesn't really rely on that, he has to box or flurry for a TKO, both are risky given his chin.

Here's the crossroads fights I want to see; on the same card, Khan vs. Prescott 2 and since Maidana is apparently a WW full time, Ortiz vs Maidana 2 at WW.

Ortiz had his jaw broken in a fight he was winning. Give the time to heal and he'll be back to normal physically.

Khan on the other hand, has had this happen to him 3 times now. A guy catches him and he falls apart. His payday with Mayweather is DOA, I don't think he can beat Garcia which guts him, whether or not him and Peterson fight again is now irrelevant since anyone that can crack(Devon Alexaner, Maidana, Lopez, Ortiz, etc.) now know he can't take a punch and will be headhunting his ass from the get-go.

Khan definately has the longer road back. A glass chin is more problematic than a glass heart.
