when Roach rescued Khan from Presscott disaster ,Khan was looking sharp and improved his boxing skills( add defensive skills)..then suddenly Khan has gone wild and he was lucky enough against Peterson. If he could go back to boxing he/d still be at A level.
he doesn't take well being hit, then learn how Not to get hit.

Yes its true they could easily both win belts in their next fights. But in terms of ATG not so sure

Most definitely Khan. Ortiz' jaw will heal, Khan's china is here to stay.

you really dont understand what garcia did to amir. what little punch resistance khan had left is now gone. power punchers like matthysse, rios and maidana are simply going to absorb punishment and walk khan down and eventually get a stoppage. its not khans chin its from the neck up.

it wouldnt surprise me at all if freddie is no longer in amirs corner.

    he knows khan is finished.

just like everyone else that understands the fight game(boxing/mma).

I think Ortiz has the harder comeback b/c he can box and has great power, but his issues appear to be psychological:

If he doesnt knock you out he goes into survival mode (Maidana fight)

He also withers away when he consistently gets attacked (Peterson fight)

If he gets frustrated, he commits blatant fouls and then immediately gets remorseful, which takes his head out of the game, casuing him to surrender (Mayweather & lopez fights)

With the exception of the Betro fight (at least from a competitive competitior), Ortiz has shown a very low level of mental maturity.

Whereas with Khan, his issues seem to be too much bravado, which as we can see will get you hurt but its an easier fix.

As far as his glass jaw, Ortiz has been on the canvas more than Khan. When he wsa wih Ariza, he never hit the canvas (though Maidan had himalmost out on his feet).

I just feel that a physical issue is easier to work with than a mental one.

i think they are in the same boat to be honest. good fighters and young in there primes but also think they are as good as there are going to get.

Both have been exposed far too many times for anyone to have hope for them.

I guarantee you both will be out the sport within 2 years.

Neither one was meant to be a fighter.

Khan doesn't have the physical durability to be a fighter, and Ortiz doesn't have the mental durability.

Both have long roads ahead. Khan has a glass jaw can't fight on the inside and has **** defense. Ortiz is a mental midget and has no heart. Neither flaws in these fighters are easy fixes.

khan, the blue print to beat khan is there for anyone to see, he as been found out not once not twice but three times and at 25 to start from scratch ie footwork ,defence, inside fighting, ring iq,new trainer, enviroment and all its just to ****ing much imho, he as over achieved with his style of fighting, he as reached his level.
the same can be said for ortiz i just think he is slightly more suited to battle

Both have a Glass Jaw but Ortiz is a multiple Quitter. His road is much longer but it doesn't matter for either guy as neither can take a punch and both will be KOed over and over.
