I remember Audley Harrison said it was Peter just prior to his fight with Haye, after he sparred with Haye previously and faced Peter before turning pro. Now that Haye has finally gone up against a top level heavyweight in his prime with a supposed 'glass jaw' and failed to wobble him who do you think packs the more power on their punches?

This. And Haye very obviously wobbled Wlad in the 12th.

If he had landed shots all night and failed to wobble him, then you'd have a point, but there's no point having power if you can't deliver it.

And not being able to deliver it doesn't mean you don't have it

    So...

Don't get me wrong CHEF, but come on, Wlad held on pretty good in the 12th. Stunned or wobbled is kinda the same thing, right?

BTW, good victory and I AM a Wladimir fan.

As Astrodamus said...any difference between stunned and wobbled? He wasn't exactly full-on ***** street but he looked stunned and in enough danger, despite what he said after the fight, enough to hold on for about 10 seconds

    Any info on who's next?

And, how many languages can you speak?

    Well done btw.

As much as I don't like the guy, I gotta go with Haye on this one. His punches look like they land with more concussive force than Peter's.

Put it this way ...I think Peter's shots probably move opponents more just with the sheer strength of them, but Haye's land with more impact. Shocking power I guess you could say.

Agreed. I thought Wladimir was mainly trying to just defuse the situation a little after Haye landed the right on him. He probably just knew Haye was going to try a flurry after landing a good shot.

I would say Peter, but what's power. If your too slow to catch people with it....

    I don't know...

I've seen some absolutely BRUTAL Sam Peter knockouts. Remember Peter v. Jeremy Williams?

Peter's shots seem a lot heavier and more concussive. Haye has speed-based power that stuns. Peter's power destroys.

I think Wladimir Klitschko would be the best to answer this question, and I'd venture to guess that he would say Peter.

Thats what i saw as well, Wlad just tried to calm the situation where Haye had a good moment.

Besides we have all seen Wladimir hurt in the past, this did not look anything like it.
His legs looked fine, he did not wobble or move at all, also he came right back with a vengeance landing some of his best shots of the fight.

IF Wlad was hurt there he has some damn amazing recovery powers cause after those 10 seconds he looked better than before.

EVEN Adam Booth said that Wlad was not hurt, why do you armchair warriors wanna see things that arent there.

*edit to the original question, Sam clearly hits harder.
Haye has decent power but nothing special at HW.

Peter was very physically strong and physically tougher, but he clubbed like no other. Haye actually has knockout blows. Shots with real speed and snap. Both have really bad technique for the most part, but Peter's technique is downright embarrassing. He looks like he doesn't even train sometimes. And I like Sammy more than Haye.
