it would've been good for the sport also, if pbf got a loss back then he wouldnt have ducked everyone to protect his '0' and probably still wouldve ended up being p4p no.1
he wasn't robbed against trinidad he decided to lose because he would've been knocked out, If you've ever been in the ring you know that when you can get knocked out and I think Oscar knew he had nothing left and was in big BIG danger of getting KTFO and decided on safety first and fairly lost the fight, i gave tito first round and last 4 but I gave him 10-7 for the last 4 so tito won on scorecard 112-108 felix tito trinidad
BS... the only real controversial win DLH has ever recieved is the Sturm decision which was simlpy horrible. The Whitaker and Quertey fights were both close just like the first Mosley fight, but most of us think that there's nothing wrong with the decisions just Whitaker and Quartey did enough to make it very close and Mosley pulled it off. On the other hand, DLH recieved a few bad decisions himself like the Tito and the 2nd Mosley fight. Most had DLH winning in these fights. So definitely controversial: WINS: Felix Sturm LOSSES: Felix Trinidad, Shane Mosley (2nd fight) CLOSE FIGHTS: Pernell Whitaker, Ike Quartey, Shane Mosley (1st fight), Floyd Mayweather Jr. So in a way DLH does qualify for a title: most controversial fights, both win and lose. That's 3 big fights.
It's still pretty close. 56 for Whitaker, 46 for DLH, 8 draws. http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=66478
Barrera win against Juarez..that was the worst bullshyt ever! I had Rocky winning by two rounds, then the result was a draw which i thought was bullshyt but its better than a loss. Then the result later being over turned was the icing.. ^ EDIT..i read the thraed title wrong, oops.
I can't think of any active fighter that was involved in more debatable decisions, win, lose, or draw, than James Toney. I've never seen his draw with Sanderline Williams, his SD win over Merqui Sosa, or his SD win over Terry McGroom, which was supposed to be controversial and the decision was booed. Of the ones I've seen, he had two debatable decisions with Mike McCallum, controversial win over Dave Tiberi, 2 controversial losses to Montel Griffin, debatable draw with Hasim Rahman, controversial loss to Sam Peter. The win over Danny Batchedler was very close too, but I never scored it as the fight was so horrible that it was too tough to pay close attention.
With someone like DLH you fight that many top guys you are bound to have close fights in which people don't like the decision. I'd say Jermain Taylor goes there. His wins over hopkins and spinks as well as the draw with Winky all controversial.
That is a lot closer to the truth, many hear that name him are showing their ignorance and never watched the fights.
The Quartey fight may have had more people saying he won(he didn't), but most feel either he lost the Whitaker fight or it was a draw.
That's exactly how I scored those two fights, DLH beat Quartey and evened with SweetPea. Just having a little fun with the idiots who only see it one way(either DLH lost ALL his big fights or DLH was robbed too many timesatsch )
