Kabayel Dubois Parker. I’ve got to go with Kabayel as he took the 0 in clinical fashion from two of the up and coming next batch of Heavyweights in Makhmudov and Sanchez and then stood in front of Zhang and destroyed him in impressive fashion.I knew Kabayel was capable of beating Zhang and predicted he would but I did not think he would do the job on him as early as he did .
If AJ can recover from this it adds to his greatness. However one more beating like this I do think it's probably over at the very top level.
Parker took Zhangs 0, Kabayel bet a clearly old over night Zhang who whooped his ass in the 1st before gassing in record time
I read your post and responded in kind. How was he "not there"? You're implying that it wasn't the "real" Joshua as many of his fans have tried to do. The Klitschko knockdown took 4 rounds to recover from. The Ruiz fight he never recovered and kept getting knocked down similar to the Dubois fight. Please explain what "he was not there" and "that was more than a bad night for him" mean? I created a thread about whether or not the "real" AJ showed up against Dubois. You are very much in the minority: https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/do-you-think-the-real-joshua-showed-up-vs-dubois.731930/
DuBois caught him cold and early and he never got into the fight.. his being cold and unprepared for the dog fight is what I mean by saying he “wasn’t there.” It’s not the same as Ruiz where he was doing well prior to getting caught and hurt. Maybe that’s a better way to say it than “he’s not there” since you seem to be getting caught up in the semantics. If AJ came ready for a war at first bell, I think the fight may play out a little differently (and DuBois still may win.) Instead, he came out thinking he was going to outclass DuBois, and boy was he wrong.
I understand what you're trying to say, but you're ultimately just making an excuse for a fighter. Again you've tried to sneak in "he wasn't ready"...wasn't ready? To rumble with a fast starting puncher who goes by "dynamite"? I'm not buying it. I think he simply wasn't good enough, and there's no mental state he could conjure to be good enough.
Dubois - blowing away Joshua seals it Parker - everyone wants to say Wilder was shot rather than he was never good, Zhang is always dangerous and Bakole is a big threat but the short notice negates a lot of the luster off that win. Kabayel - may have beaten the best guys - young upcoming guys but without them being proven hard to say All 3 guys have been on fire
Yeah definitely Especially I don't see how we can have Parker ahead of him, considering the manner Kabayel won
No I’m just not a sheep and won’t act brainless following the crowd acting like Parker has done something so special recently. People are moving like casuals the way they think Parker has legitimately proven himself to an extent that puts him at the very top tier of the division.
