I wouldn't call Matthysse, Herrera, and Peterson a "protected resume". Garcia's a protected fighter though, with gift decisions.

I think Brook is a reasonable shout-out. Post-Porter, his resume is trash, pre-Porter his resume is still trash.

You have to look at the background of the Peterson fight. Garcia was slated to fight Viktor Postol who is the worst stylistic match-up in the division. Easily, Peterson was the easier fight.

    Chris Algieri - feather fisted
    Devon Alexander - feather fisted
    Luis Collazo - feather fisted
    Danny García - was KOed
    Lamont Peterson - lost
Zab Judah - shot and quit
Marcos Maidana - eeked out a win was on bambi legs the whole fight
Paulie Malignaggi - ZERO power. None
Marco Antonio Barrera - completely shot and lost from a head butt.

So, yes Khan has been protected and when he has stepped up he has been KOed or lost. His opponents under Hunter have had embarrassing KO rates.

Name me another fighter that has beaten 7 HOFers and 22 champions and I'll agree with you.
