    Oliver McCall, glass chinned fraud.

But seriously, McCalls chin is literally unbelievable. Especially when you consider the people he's been in there with. Strangely enough he said he was most hurt in his fights with Gomez :O By the LOOKS of it Bruno gave him the most trouble but apparently not.

The weakest would belong to some no name fighter who was knocked out 7 times in a row then retired.

Best- Lamotta, SRR, Laporte, Chuvalo, McCall, McCullough, Fullmer.

Take your pick...Lamotta is usually the benchmark.

Incidently if you have followed him now you can notice Walter Matthysse is getting sparked fight after fight since the Williams fight. He just got sparked by a journeyman in Argentina a few days ago.He has 5 consecutive KO losses I believe.
Also the returning Graham Earl has lost all his punch resistance.

Martin Rogan has been hit by some massive bombs and the bloke just keeps going- he'd get my vote for 'most granite chin' at present. As for 'most glassy', everyone is gonna say Khan but I seriously think Ricky Hatton has lost his punch resistance.:bbb

I think a guy who's seldom mentioned in these types of threads should get mentioned for his chin..Billy Graham..4o's and 50's welterweight who had over 120 bouts and was never decked or ko'ed as a pro or amateur.
For a weak chin, I would have to suggest Ingemar Johannson, who had virtually no punch resistance when his chin was found..honorable mention goes to Primo Carnera.

Joe grim had the best chin....every name fighter of his era in three or four real huge* weight classes teed off on it.
He led with his chin, having no other weapon.

They had only 8 weights back in his day.

He lost to more prime Hall of Famer big names than anyone.....folks came to see it done...and almost always Grim was still standing.

Hagler must be mentioned in any discussion on granite chins - at least if you are talking P4P, not absolute. It's difficult to conceive of him being KOd at middleweight by any fighter. He is probably the only person who responded to being hit flush with the Hearns right hand by actually becoming more aggressive and increasing the ferocity of his attack.

For best chins regardless of weight, I would say McCall, Chuvalo, Cobb.

For glass jaws, I agree with the earlier post which said some bum who lost 7 or 8 straight fights. I think it's better to ask about glass jaws for world class fighters. Some contenders would be Maurice Blocker (welterweight champ), Julian Jackson , Patterson, Johanssen.
