Who HASN'T Price lost to or been floored by in the ams/

If Fury beats Kingpin in a convincing manner,**** if he stops him ... surely people have to hold him in higher regards than Price for **** sake,who is fighting Skeleton and possibly Sprott after that?

 

And he's a kid at 24. He's already done a fair bit and he is definitely improving. I wouldn't be 100% confident he wouldn't rock up for a fight in awful shape and I imagine that will happen at some but in his career again (like the McDermott fight) but he won't against Price as he genuinely dislikes him.

 

Hit the nail on the head there. Does not bode well that he has been put down repeatedly in the AM's.

 

Floyd Patterson went down 23 times in his career and he is classed by many as an ATG....thing with Floyd is that on most occasions he kept getting up, I don't get that vibe with Price

 

I want to see how Price reacts when he hits someone and they don't collapse like a demolished building,someone with decent power and someone that can actually fight when the going gets tough ... someone like Fury for example.

Price has got up the vast majority of the times that are mentioned in this thread and in a good few cases won the fight.

He only loses the round 10-8 if he gets put down. Criticize him when/if it happens.

 

Dont know much about Davids amateur career,apart from losing to camarelle and beating Fury.Some good names have been mentioned.Could somebody enlighten me please?

 

im sorry but the Haye thing is bull****, Price floored Haye, Haye mentioned somehting along those lines in his book and i heard from a very reliable source that it was not Price hitting the deck

 

Does he not? He did it when he was a fat 17 year old in the AM's,I'm pretty sure he'd be more than capable nowadays for **** sake.
Both have obviously come a long long way since then but to say Fury couldn't hurt him is ridiculous.Fury will hurt anyone he's landing
on eventually, and if you have a poor chin he's knocking you the **** out,outright.

Fight means **** all in the long run,but anyone that thinks the Fury of now couldn't put Price down if he were to land flush is a ****ing moron.

He had the power to do it when he was a kid and Price was wearing a ****ing helmet,the punch barely grazed him,I'm certain he'd be able to do it if he were to catch Price properly now.
Fury ain't a bad finisher either,still ... 50/50 fight IMO.

People hate him because he was calling David Price out, Price starts dropping fools for fun and all of a sudden Fury is nowhere to be seen.
