This one is funner and better since there are not as many defensively sound fighters. I can actually fit the most obvious ones on 10. Why and Vote! Active boxers of course...

    Vote where?

And it's who has the best offense/defense, not who have.

Still gotta say Hopkins. He doesn't get hit for squat. Taylor didn't land nothing clean in both their fights. Tarver didn't land nothing. Wright got in shots but nothing hard. He might not look pretty making people miss but he does it better than any IMO. He's just the best boxer out there and sees everything.

Winky lumped him. His beard is amazing though, when he fought Echol and Echol caught him a hail mary haymaker and he was only staggered for 1.5 sec.

i'd have to say mayweather NOW but i'd rate jones and toney above him in their prime. at supper-middle, jones and toney were untouchable: jones because of his speed and toney because of his nuances and subtle shifts of the body. bhop is good but he still gets hit by most guys not named taylor. at the moment, mayweather is simply too fast to get hit. even on the ropes he's a dynamo

mmmm...probably Mayweather. Hopkins is up there too though. Haven't seen much of Caledron so can't comment. Jones, Toney great defense in their hey days but are both past their prime and more hittable than ever. Winky great defense as well but has opted for a more offensive game in recent fights.

I voted Hopkins because I knew Mayweather was gonna win anyways and wanted to give my boy some props.

Wright was off-balanced all fight long. He was never allowed to plant and throw like he usually throws his jab. Hopkins made Wright reach for his jab like never before. And the ones that landed had ZERO power on them. And he made Wright miss so many right hooks it's not even funny. Hopkins made Wright look like a C class fighter IMO. He countered beautifully with the right hand leads.

I think Mayweather is just as good as Hopkins but i gotta give my boy some love.
