Fair enough. P4P, throwing caution to the wind, I think he's on top though.

And yeah, What Hoya said is blatant bull****. He either got tired or tired of being countered.

LOL at people voting Mayweather - surely an offense is how devastating your attacks are and Mayweathers simply are not

    Probably Wladdy. Then Cotto/Pacman
    and maybe Katsidis

i voted manny pac for the simple reason that what he does well, he does EXCEPTIONALLY well. his straight left and right hook are two of the most powerful bombs right now in the world. mayweather can't hit worth a ****: it's accumulation and timing...yes timing is important to power and knockouts but he doesn't put enough into his punches. there's a reason ali wasn't in the ring's top 100 punchers of all time: he hit williams with 70-80% of his punches but they weren't damaging on their own. neither is floyd. plus he runs too much to call offensive anyway

This is an english speaking forum. Please learn the language if you want to post here. I am sick of all these people asking questions that make absolutely zero sense.

The only elite fighters around are Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacman. So that isnt a knock on Cotto. And after he destroys Mosley, he still wouldnt have beaten an elite fighter.

He throws punches only whgen he feels they will be scoring blows, in other words; he has a good offense.

The best offensie fighter isnt even on the list.....Wladimir Klitschko. His arsenal is stocked. Great jab that sets up cominations controlls the pace of the fight or can be used as a power punch, his right hand is the best in boxing, he throws short hooks and uppercuts inside. He is very technically sound and based off power, speed, accuracy that goes with it he is the best.

good offense but not the best offense. pbf's offense doesn't crush opponents. it serves only to score points, win rounds and eventually a decision.

    This is a difficult question.

Boxing is not football. There is no "Best offense" or "Best defense" really. Sure, there is "Which guy is more likely to KO his opponent" and that is a fine question, but best offense?

In boxing, it's not like you go on offense or defense, you are constantly fighting. Floyd shoulder rolls slipping a punch and turns the roll into a great counter right hand, is that good offense or good defense?

Jones puts both hands behind his back and slips two punches to land his KO counter right hand, is that good offense or good defense?

What constitutes a good offense? Manny jumps in and out and throws short combinations while he is inside, does he have good offense? Or does he just have good timing with his footwork?

Wlad Klitschko throws the jab OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER again, and then KOs his opponents with one right hand. Does only using two punches, even when those two punches result in KOs, constitute a good offense?

Winky Wright walks you down and jab jab jabs to the face over and over again while keeping his titan shield covering his entire body. Does his forward momentum and jabs constitute a good offense, or is he merely good because his arms and gloves are so freakishly huge that they can cover his whole body?
