Who here believes Pac vs Mayweather will not live up to all the anticipation?

I don't think anyone really expects it to be the greatest most action packed fight ever. They just want to see the best two fighters of their generation fight eachother because I don't think nobody is really that sure of what the outcome will be.

 

Two best fighters of their generation...Manny Pacquiao and Bernard Hopkins...I actually don't want to see that.

 

Pac catches Floyd the way Shane, Zab, and Corley did... only Floyd won't survive. Floyd knows this and that's the reason why he hasn't fought the "one dimensional" and ultimate payday "easy fight" that is Pacquiao.

Hatton was aggressive applioed pressure gave the crowd a few ooooo's and ahhhhhh's....floyd did his thing.....i think the fight was very good even though it was one sided pretty much.

I think thats how this one goes...you kno Pac is going to keep the action going no matter if he is getting the best of Floyd or vice versa......the fight will be very intriguing from bell to bell i think....mostly because of Pac.

 

Yeah, only Pacquiao is faster, hits harder, and has a better chin than Ricky Hatton. He also has better stamina, and is a more elusive target.

...Yeah...it'd look nothing like the Hatton fight.

 

I don't think it will be a let down...just for the fact that I will be made up that the bout will actually be happening.

Plus...I get very excited for big bouts, **** knows what I will be like if/when this bout happens. The build-up will be amazing.

 

geez...not the outcome...im talking about the excitement..the action and pace.....i thought Hatton and Floyd was a good fight....i enjoyed watching....im sayng Pac and Floyd will be on that level of excitemnet and action.....not the performances per se.

 

it would be nothing like the Hatton fight, Pac is nothing like Hatton.

Or it could be ala Castillo vs Floyd. Where Floyd got decimated through 12 rd? By harder more effective shots?

Of course it will not live up to the anticipation. These two guys are the two most over-hyped boxers in modern era. I prefer watching Wlad clinically dismantling a dangerous opponent like Peter or Chambers.

 

DLH-Tito actually wasn't boring for the most part. DLH was getting good work done going in & out with combos but the last rounds were boring imo.

Back to the point, I feel Mayweather-Pacquiao needs to happen but it won't live up to expectations. The fight isn't worth the drama it receives I actually prefer Martinez-Williams II & Froch-Abraham because you know they'll be great. The only thing is that they don't have the level of importance as Mayweather-Pacquiao but that's it.

 

Or floyd my curl up in a fetus position and start crying because he aint fighting someone whos 35+ and hasnt got a fanny?

I'm not sure Floyd would be able to control Manny as easily as he has past opponents. Floyd's not sure either, that's why he's stalling.
Besides, will this fight ever happen? At this point, it doesn't seem like it will.
If Manny does win, I hope he doesn't steal Floyd's cell phone.
