Its all down to what your expectations are to begin with. I aint expecting a war cuz Floyd duznt get into wars, i aint expecting Floyd to be as slick and fluid as Floyd either.

I dont know which style wins over the other when the 2 people are as good as they are at them. And that to me is what i cant wait to see and it could well be that 1 completely overpowers the other. I dont mind that.

Pac has the abilities to make Floyd serious, and that's why I'm hoping the fight will deliver. Normally Floyd would dance around all night and potshot, but if Pac can take the pace with his southpaw stance/speed/power/combinations and high level output, Floyd will be literally FORCED to step the gears up just to keep up, or he'll lose rounds due to workrate, if nothing else. Comparing Floyd to Marquez is silly -- they have differing styles of counterpunching, and Marquez counters far more in combinations, while Floyd often employs the more cautious 'one at a time' style.

If the fight is boring, it'll be because Pac finds himself hopelessly outmatched in terms of skill, and spends most of the night missing and being countered. I don't think this will happen, though...mainly because he has nearly all of the abilities needed to trouble Floyd and land on him. (The only glaring exception is a good jab, but Pac has the speed and unorthodox style to hopefully get away with it.) I don't think the fight will be a war or anything, but I think it'll be fascinating for boxing fans, just to see how two utterly contrasting and supremely talented men try and dismantle each other.

It may be different, but Marquez DID CUT DOWN emmanuel's workrate. Floyd cuts down EVERYONE'S workrate. THAT WE KNOW.

People can make fun of Hatton all they want, but Floyd's fight w/ Hatton is the best fight of his career so far.

Nah I'd say that the Corrales fight at 130 was better for him.

I know most people consider that his best performance, but I like to watch the Hatton fight. Maybe because he shattered all the british hearts that night.

yea true Marquez was good at ad******g. Pac cant beat Floyd the puncher chance isnt there at 147 in my opinion but the longer he waits the more pac fills into his frame. when mayweather called shane out and fought oscar at 154 but only made it in the ring at 149 very small guy does mayweather take that thundering right hand as well in 06 as he did this year? or last year whenever he fought mosley lol. getting old.
Go for it now may dont let the ego get in the way take the 50 but ask for the test. and do it.

oh to answer the question I dont think he it will live up to the hype mayweather will control the fight. if the fight happens later this year given pac time to grow in his new frame Pac stands a puncher chance MAYBE but thats all mosley had and mosley has a more powerful punch
shane send dudes to the hospital
    nice guy bad intentions

What do you mean? Floyd happened due to Floyd's mistake and Mosley's skills. Mosley was wise enough to feint the jab to the chest, Floyd tried to counter with his lazy left hook, and Mosley came over perfectly with his overhand right counter bang onto the temple. Floyd didn't even see the counter. It didn't happen due to Floyd's age.

Manny is getting old too....he has a lot more wear and tear than Mayweather...

The shot shots Shane landed would have killed everybody in the philipines.

After a few jabs to the solar plexus.....

Manny will be looking for a soft spot on the canvas to rest his weary..overrated bones:deal:deal:deal

Pac has no experience with SPEED.

His opponents provide him with zero insight as to how to beat Mayweather..

There is a reason Pac only fights straight ahead plodders:yep

Here's what I know. I've seen Floyd fight southpaws before, and Pac kicks the **** out of the guy who fought Judah. Floyd has to be a boxer to beat Pacquiao not a potshot artist.

Judah was trying to be slick and even had some success countering Floyd, very different from Hatton.
