Your take is all flawed.

1. Timeline - Since Floyd did not sign the contract at the deadline provided, this allowed Arum to start negotiations with Margarito and Cotto. Why will Floyd want that to happen if he REALLY wants the fight?

2. Early Promo - Arum is still giving Floyd a chance BEFORE any contract approval with either Margarito and Cotto even after the last nights timeline has passed.

3. Direct contact with Mayweather camp - Why? They tried it before. It didn't work. Are you going to talk directly to people who are accusing you of murder? You'll get a lawyer or a judge.

4. Contract that all agreed on - HBO's CEO already said that a deal has been reached back on June 30. Pac signed the contract. All Floyd need to do is sign the contract. He didn't.

 

It's great the they are even giving Floyd a chance to fight Pac even if he is overweight! Think about it. It is a welterweight fight. Freddie said it best. If Floyd is over 147, THERE IS NO FIGHT. I will not let my guy fight a bigger Floyd. It is good that Pac is even giving Floyd a leeway.
