Hot damn! This guy is fun to watch.

I was watching his latest fight against Frank Munoz at Evolution 22 on
    This content is protected
and I was impressed once again with corrbets agression and diverse and powerful attacks. he is always coming forward but rarley gets hit coming in (his defence is good) he just pressures his opponents until they crack.

    And those elbows! Holy ****!

    here is the fight.

sure his opponent wasnt fighting back much but thats owed to corbetts aggression, its hard to strike back when the other guy is attacking you like a swarm of killer bees.

    52 (42) - 2

this guy likes to ko his opponents!

Nathant corbett was a former cruserweight champ now he is a WKN heavyweight champion (World Kickboxing Network champ) he still looks fantastic!

Wouldn't necessarily call myself a fan, but I do enjoy watching him fight. How can you not? The man is a badass! Really deserves a rematch with Spong as well because that was bull****. I think he's a guy that I'm actually not sure I would want to fight in K-1 because of how the rule set would effect his arsenal, although I'm sure he could adjust.

Also 'Carnage' is an awesome nickname.

Yeah he's a good and entertaining fighter. Really good hands. I'd like to see him in K-1 mixing it up with guys like Saki or Kyotaro, though he's a bit small it's the the premiere kickboxing organisation.

Spong was beating him up until he ate a countering punch that knocked him out.

I think carnage would adapt very well to k1 he has a lot more than elbows, the real problem is his size guys like Hari and Shilt and Overeem would cause him some trouble.

Saki, Kyotoro, Zimmerman and Spong (rematch) I would pick him to win against.

however I think he should stick to muay thai, why should he have to limit himself under kickboxing rules?

the fight with spong and corbett taught us that even in kickboxing rules carnage wins.

Carnage did not see the ref wave spong off to signal that carnage had won, the refs back was turned to corbett and his eyes were locked on spong ready to pounce on him and finish him off. It should have been a spectacular victory for carnage but the circumstances were unfortunate.

A full rules muay thai match would only give corbett more of an edge thats why spong did not want it in the first place- corbett won that fight and he would win a rematch.

No doubt Carnage would have to compete with the Heavyweights rather than the Super-Heavy's, although the big guys can be beaten as Saki showed in the recent GP. I think Carnage would beat Spong in a rematch, but Saki? Ohhh I don't think he'd beat my man Saki!!:deal

your boy saki is going to get carnage'd!

saki will be pushed back and abused, carnage has a better chin than spong who was bullying saki and beating him till he got tko'd in their match.

I like saki, he is always an exciting fighter, but he comes up short.

    carnage mutha****as!

Well Saki has improved a lot compared to the time he fough Spong. A few years back I was wondering on which points he could still improve as he was already so good. So I thought that we had seen the best of him but boy he proved me wrong.

The should call him vicious Gohkan Saki from now on!

Abused? Yeah I doubt that. It would be a great fight though. In fact I'm getting a bit excited just thinking about it. Two guys who come to fight and barely take a step backwards. Saki has improved since the Spong fight. And he was hardly bullied in that fight anyway. He was on the backfoot for some of it yes, but it was a fairly even fight. And the counter that KO'ed Spong was a beaut. Technically Saki is superb with fast hands and excellent kicks. I think a fight with Corbett would be fairly even, personally.

I think your right it would be pretty close, but if carnage was able to back saki up, ohh no!

Carnage possesses such amazing aggression he is so brutal with those elbows, he wouldnt be able to use them under k-1 rules but if he was...

I am a carnage fan, have been since I first seen him fight.

saki is good too if he wasnt injured before the overeem fight he might have won it.

Yeah, you don't see many people utilise elbows like he does. I've been watching a bit more of him since you made this thread actually and some of his elbow KO's are brutal, such as the one over Clifton Brown and some Korean fella.

He's a beast, loved watching him in that 8 man tourney in Amsterdan i think it was , he just ripped through everyone to win it. The UFC should give him a few 1 off fights against stand up guys like Jardine etc.

Jardine isn't in the UFC anymore. Also, that fight would be so one sided in favor of Corbett that I wouldn't even want to see it. Jardine would get murdered.
