Seriously mate what has that got to do with anything? Off topic: Duncan Dokiwari and also Floyd Cummings were succesful BB's/strong men that made a transition to boxing. That said your argument holds no water whatsoever as it has nothing to do with the topic at hand.

I haven't stated an argument. You asked a question, I asked you a question. Where's my argument?

Your problem is you see lifting weights as ONLY building muscle mass as in body building. There's more ways to train but you're obviously that ignorant you'd just rather talk complete bull**** than accept the truth.

I never brought it up there was a guy who said that lifting weight helps you in boxing before. Bodybuilding and boxing does not correlate and that is why you dont see people mixing them. Clearly mr virus thinks different.

Read my post above. I never claimed bodybuilding helps with boxing.

Since when did lifting weights automatically translate to bodybuilding? MANY athletes train with weights. Matter of fact almost all sucessful athletes train with weights and its known to improve peformance.

Haha. Okay, I give up, it's entirely impossible to lift weights and not put on huge amounts of muscle. :patsch

Do you have any idea how difficult it is to build even a few pounds of pure muscle? It takes hard work, time and a lot of dedication. I'm telling you, you don't just magically gain muscle from picking up weights.

YOU have made an assumption that lifting weights automatically correlates to gaining weight. This assumption is completely false with no basis in fact. It doesnt require a debate the same way discussing alchemy doesnt require a debate.

The only thing that happens when you lift weights is your muscles get bigger and you become heavier which is terrible for a fighter. These is no need to lift weights unless you are moving up in weight (haye, jones, floyd, hatton)

So If I decided to lift weights I would not gain anything? How is this possible?
