my favourite fighter is Yodsanklai, this guy is awesome, he makes legends look like amatuers. i like his composure he skill, how he changes the rythm and distance to confuse opponents.

saenchi is known to be p4p best in thailand.
anuwat is the champ of some weight division.

i need more info on these guys. i am starting to get in to muay thai ALOT!

are saenchi n anuwat in the same weight class?

it's when you watch real Muay Thai superstar in muay thai fight that you can see that Anderosn Silva's muay thai ain't top notch, far from that, but it is really suited for mma, it's why its working greatly.

Don't really watch it much, mostly due to availability. To be honest its not one of my favorite combat sports.

I just watched either a UFC or WEC fight and one guy was a very accomplished professional MT fighter but was out struck by the fighter who had no credentials, just trained MT for MMA pusposes. I guess all MT is not for MMA.

it is for MMA when you have no fear to be taking down because you know you are a BJJ black belt.

Silva's ground credentials are way overrated.

Yodsanklai is amazing although he only uses the left leg. I don't think I've ever seen him kick with the right. Kaew "Sugar" Fairtex is a lot of fun to watch, very stylish. Some of the French fighters are good too, they had a guy named Diafat who was awesome. And of course Buakaw is tremendous even though they keep changing the rules to try and limit the Thais in K1. Ramon Dekkers is textbook too, very classical Muay Thai fighter and there are some great vids of him on youtube. ESPN showed some good fights from Lumpinee a long time ago but being ESPN they switched to the great sport of poker instead :-(

I know it is for MMA, that is why I train in it. I said "all muay thai", just like all boxing is not applicable in MMA. The thing is he was outstruck, that is crazy.

No they're all world class. John Wayne Parr from Australia, who gave Buakaw some awesome fights in K1, and Yodsanklai also.
