Who Hit Harder at Heavyweight Walcott Or Patterson?

    I think that it is an almost imposible comparison because their styles are so diferent.

    I do think that Walcott was far more dangerous with the executuion of a single punch than Patterson. If you had to make a mistake against one of them better Patterson.

    Very hard question, I would have said Patterson but SuzieQ puts forward a valid argument for Walcott because he knocked down both Louis and Marciano although not the only one to do so and who is to say Patterson would not have done the same if given the chance, so Walcott just.

    Walcott's power displays were against better competition (Charles vs. Johansson; Louis vs. Cooper). And whereas Patterson was routed against his best opposition, at least old Walcott floored and battered a great, hungry challenger in Marciano.
