Haye hits harder for his size but Peter is the more powerful puncher. Haye has never put a HW to sleep like that : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-jg9vct2p8
They're different kind of punchers. I think David Haye has the ability to knock more heavyweights out than Sam Peter, based off of explosiveness alone.
Hard to say. I suspect Peter, but Peter didn't KO anybody decent. Is that power, or the fact he was slow as molasses. I dunno. I do know he couldn't stop any top level fighters.
Haye went a combined 24 rnds with Valuev and Wlad. Not one knock down :-( I'll go with Peter :bbb :good
Head bouncing off the canvas likely contributed to that. And it was just a perfect shot on the chin. Nobody has been able to KO PAC like Marquez did, but I don't think now that everyone is going to suddenly proclaim that Marquez hit harder tha Mosley, cotto, clotted etc....
He had Valuev "staggering around like a drunk" for half a second and couldn't put him down. I agree p4p it's probably Haye but I'd vote for Peter overall :rasta
Head bouncing off the canvas? LOL he was out before he hit the canvas, and the canvas ain't that hard it's designed to not hurt fighters too much when they fall. Fact is Haye has never scored a one-shot KO against a HW but Peter has. Haye hit Wlad flush and hurt him but couldn't put him down while Peter did.
Peter is probably the more concussive puncher due to his weight and strength. Haye developes his power more from timing and speed and not just brute strength. Different kinds of punchers IMO, but I do believe Hayes power has gone from being slightly overrated to more recently very underrated.
