Who hit harder Joe Frazier or Mike Weaver??

Frazier's hook:

The power difference is negligible and not worth the tradeoff. Give me Frazier's hook 7 days a week and twice on Sunday. Once he starts smoking, the opponent's coach starts choking.

 

I don't think Frazier's power is overrated. If his greatest rival Muhammad Ali didn't have a legendary chin the perception may be different. Even in their 2nd fight the least brutal of the 3 Ali said postfight that Frazier had him out on his feet a couple of times.

With that said Joe wasn't a 1 shot knockout puncher. He hurt a guy with that hook at anytime but chopped opponents down for the most part.
