Oscar hit cleaner and was in better position to counterpunch, but Shane was probably the physically stronger guy. Sort of like Hearns punched much harder than Hagler, but Hagler had more physical strength.

Use a punch meter or go to their records and see who has more kos. Shane is winning the poll because many think he can punch. You can throw harder with both hands longer and harder than you can throwing just one shot.

Hearns didn't punch much harder than Hagler. Hagler had heavy hands.

I dont think thats is an honest method of deciding who has more power, you got to remember most of Shanes fights were at 135 had Oscar stayed there that long he would have more Kayos as well.
Then you must also factor in opponents, not every fighter has the same kind of chin, in other words this means Shane could have fought alot more easier fights and picked up more knock outs making him look like the harder puncher on Paper.
While Oscar has had Big fight after Big fight after Big fight against the very best and if you look at both records you will see that Oscar has fought much much much better level opposition than Mosley has.

The fans voting is showing you this. I'm sorry, but saying dlh has fought much, much, much better opposition than Shane is a false hood if I ever saw one.

Dlhs lack of a right hand is why people are voting for Shane imo. Dlh can punch, but against each other, Shane seemed to be the harder puncher.

Marvin had heavy hands, but he did not have close to Hearns power. I don't think at all. Juan Roldan who fought Hearns and Hagler was asked after fighting both, who punched harder and he said immediately Hearns. Leonard said Hearns punched harder and Duran the result proves something. I think Hearns punched significantly harder than Hagler. Hagler had a good punch, but was not a one punch knockout artist. Hagler was a solid strong puncher who could get a guy hurt with one punch, but rarely did he stop a guy with one punch.

Really, I mean Hopkins, Trinidad and Chavez tend to **** all over anything Mosley has faced, you cant say Mayweather Jr cus Oscar fought him as well... Oscar has fought better opposition.
and the fans voting here again they are doing so with out even thinking who may actually hit harder between the two. reality is Oscar does hit harder IMO and its proven in common opponents as well.
and if you want to bring up polls lets look at some Pacquiao Polls here.. I am sure you will say that those polls are bogus or biased.... why wouldnt this one be biased then?:think
