Oscar has better power, and is the better boxer. Between common opponents, ODLH KO faster and were fresher.

    Common opponents:

    Wilfredo River: DLH 8- SSM-10
Jesse James Leija: DLH 2- SSM 9
Fernando Vargas: DLH 11- SSM 16
Ricardo Mayorga: DLH 6- SSM 12

If we take a truly prime Oscar, the only fighters who he was in the ring with that seemed truly comfortable with taking his power (from memory) were Tito and Whitaker.

I think he did a better job of defending against Oscar to be honest. For me he lost the fight by not responding with enough activity to Oscar's right hands and combinations. That being said he completely nullified the jab and left hook in parts so he was never really trouble by Oscar's real power hand.

Against Tito he didn't seem as effective in blunting Tito's offensive arsenal (he was by all means a coke addled hooker lover by then) and got dropped for his troubles. He also broke his jaw in the fight I believe, yet saw the contest through. That is a hard hard man. I can't really think of many fighters who could suffer a broken jaw off Tito and then make it through to the end taking one or more punches in the rest of the fight.

Shane did get rocked a number of times (in the first fight at least, he seemed way more durable in the second). Just as Shane rocked Oscar a number of times (in both fights in this case).

We all know about their common opponents, but Shane has a better ko percentage career wise. Anyway, how does this prove who hits harder? Both stopped all 4 guys.

ON PAPER, you do realize that DLH moved up in weight he didnt stay at Light weight as long as Mosley did..... had he done that you wouldnt be arguing this.

You aren't bringing anything new to the table on fans. Fans think Shane hits harder because he can punch with either hand. They think his right is a harder punch than Dlhs left possibly also.

    1. You Realize Oscar has fought more champions and former champions than Mosley.
    2. You realize that Oscar moved up in weight every time sooner and longer than Mosley.
    3. You realize that based on common opponents Oscar had proved to have the arsenal (including power) to finish them faster.

Why cant you just admit you're wrong.

Mosley having a better KO% only proves he stood at the lower weights longer and fought the lesser of competition.

I'm not concerned what a bunch of 18 year Pac and PBF groupies, which is what ESB is infested with.

I've been a huge fan of boxing since 1995, around the time both Mosley and DLH were entering their prime. I don't go based off boxrec %.

I don't know posters here, so I Sony judge them. I respect all objective opinions. Punching power is judged by many different ways, not just who kod who faster. The poll tells you how differently many posters think about power.
