I think Andy Ruiz Jr at his normal weight is strong enough to hurt Joshua or Ortiz... and Fury knocked out Wilder who has a good jaw by the way... what do you think?
Ruiz is more dangerous in combination and more likely to stun you. Fury has harder single shots when he puts his weight into them, and more clubbing power. Wilder would get KTFO by them both.
Don't think there's much in it, neither are known for their punching power but both are big enough to hurt you if they land clean.
Actually very hard to say, neither are big punchers. I lean towards Fury given his size and stoppages over Wilder and Whyte which for trump Ruiz’s stoppage over AJ.
Both are fairly featherfisted for heavyweights but it’s pretty clearly Fury. Comparing stoppage wins; Wilder x2, Chisora x2, Cunningham & Whyte clearly trump Joshua, Dimitrenko, Vargas and I genuinely can’t remember any others without consulting BoxRec.
He knocked Wilder out after 29 rounds and some 1298 punches. Whilst outweighing Wilder significantly. Wilder has a strong chin, but even water can break through granite with enough time.
I think Fury has a little more force/impact behind his power shots but Ruiz has quicker hands and crisper combos. So I think Andy is a little more DANGEROUS of a puncher. Hits guys with more shots they don’t see coming.
As others have mentioned Ruiz for combos and Fury for single power shots Ruiz stopped Aj with combos, but I still think Fury can chin him Not often has a good bigger guy reigning punches down on him. Probably why I'm so confident Fury can beat Aj, even on an off night. Aj can certainly hurt and Floor Fury, but I'm not sure he can keep him down I have little doubt Fury has enough power to stop Joshua. Hopefully Fury beats Usyk and we get the chance to find out
Fury punches harder - Ruiz has quick combos for an LA. And Fury has better defense. Defense makes you confident enough to throw a punch with impunity.
