Who hits harder Arthur Abraham or Kelly Pavlik

Abraham has much heavier hands but Pavlik is a little more accurate.

Abraham clearly is the harder puncher of the two.

 

I would say that Pavlik throws more power shots in a fight but when both men load up Abraham carries more power.

 

Why has Abraham's power been under the radar so to speak? Is it because he hasn't had enough exposure in the States?

 

Abraham, though only because he takes wild swings. Pavlik is a far better boxer.

It's a misleading question, really; Pavlik tends to stalk his opponents, wear them down and finish them off rather than blast them out in one or two punches.

 

Pavlik has better boxing fundamentals as he's boxing far longer than AA - either pro and ams - but AA has by far the bigger talent...

...btw, Abraham only gets wild when he has an opponent hurt and this comes usually due to fine counter-shots or well-placed short right hands...

Here we go again. Both guys put Miranda down multiple times. Going on the one common opponent, I just don't see how you can say one has more power than the other. Kelly's shots are more controlled by design most of the time. Needs to be to get back into a defensive position since he gives up a little speed to the top guys.
