Who hits harder Arthur Abraham or Kelly Pavlik

The "who hits harder" argument is a red herring. Zuniga and Miranda probably have more concussive one punch power than Pavlik. Zuniga got his face shredded, and Miranda got turned into road kill. The record suggests that Pavlik has no problems with short punchers. (Notice I said "suggests" not "proves.")

 

You cannot tell who hits harder by their KO ratio's. AA is KO'ing taxi drivers.

 

Abraham clearly. Pavlik's work rate and consistency does the damage.

Well,the record also suggests that AA has only had problems with mobile and slick runners like Gainer and Ayala.
I dare to say that Pavlik's style is tailor made for AA.However,that doesnt mean that AA will be victorious over Pavlik.
AA can be outboxed.Thats for sure!He has an iron chin so that I cant really see Pavlik knock him out whereas I can imagine the opposite quite easily.Pavlik's chin will probably be the decisive factor in their encounter.We will see which way the cat jumps when AA has connected with one of his murderous shots.

 

AA has more explosive 1 punch power. He breaks boulders with one swing, it takes Pav. 3 swings to break the same boulder

The took my favorite down though. A side view of him fully extended with the sledge. I posted it a few times when people talk about his "leverage". Before the fight they showed him doing a drill I thought was a little unusual. Kelly stands on some balance device. I don't think I could stand on it and balance period. Jack Loew was directly behind with Kelly looking straight back over his head. He throws a medicine ball from behind, straight over Kelly's head and Kelly has to catch it and maintain balance on that device.

People like to claim they don't see any improvement but Jack and Kelly weren't full time until they won the title.

 

I get the feeling that, like most of ESB, you know very little about Zuniga. He needs about 8" on a left hook to put a SMW on is ass, or better yet, flat on his back.

I can't believe you guys have the balls to bring up Ayala all the time. That's like me bragging about Ross Thompson.

Of course AA can be "outboxed." He can also be hurt. It's commendable that he continued fighting in the first Miranda fight, but do you honestly believe he would have survived if Pavlik had him hurt like that? Pavlik can and will outbox Arthur, and he will hurt and finish him. AA spends way to much time on the ropes. That's where Pavlik's victims go to die!

The good news is Sauerland seems to think negotiations are making progress. The fight will happen soon, probably after Duddy. I just hope we get to see Arthur spark his next mandatory on the Pavlik/Duddy undercard.

 

I dont really like Pavlik to be honest, but from the fights iv seen him in, to me it seems he doesnt hit hard at all.
