Don't bother Herm. It's not like I'm stating my opinion, but giving sources by boxing journalist. Oh well....

Watch the vid again in better quality...it looks a bit like the forearm followed, but the KO was clearly forced by the hand. At 04:30 the KO is shown in slow motion.

OK, it's not a subject worth arguing to me really. But the fore arm/ elbow surely must have helped though, no?

His head shootsup from the glove and the underside of his forearm barely touches him while the punch follows through.

The elbow does not even come into play.

Silly debate... all that matters is that these 2 NEED to fight each other... i really like both fighters and i think it will be a great fight.

Wish Arum would stop making excuses n stop blocking this for his own financial gain.
I know Abraham is willing to fight Pavlik in his back yard and i do not believe Pavlik is the type to duck the only worthy challenger he has.

Absolutely. Agree 100% as well. Finn good vid, I had not seen that one, and was going more on what I had read. As you guys pointed out, the reports are WRONG based on Finn's video evidence and were obviously only written to stir contraversy. Sorry about the silly argument guys, but I'm not lying when I say I'd read that in several places, so don't hold it against me too strongly.

    Friggin' reporters reportin' wrong ****...lol.

No harm done man, glad you took the time to watch the vid and drew your own conclusions.

That KO and several others is what makes people so excited about Abraham ... when he hits people they just stop in their track like they got shot.
Their respective styles just screams for an action packed fan friendly fight that everybody wants to see.

I can see Pavlik with his superior work rate and heavy hands wearing Abraham down for a UD or very late TKO (great feat considering AA's proven chin) or Abraham at any point in the fight just exploding n finishing KP off.

No matter the outcome the fans win and it needs to happen... and i am getting concerned that Arum is blocking it on purpose cause AA is running out of time before he can not make 160 anymore and protect his cash cow.

KP is a warrior and not a ducker so i know he is not responsible for this.

Arthur lets of atomic bombs when he lands punches man, he is an animal
you can tell he has the heavier punches just by looking at there output and the amount of puches both guys land

arthur throws less punches but the ones that land are very meaningful

The best point of refference in getting a good result is the records of both fighters

    Abraham
    26 fights = 260 ROUNDS
    BOXED 167 rounds = 82.12 KO %
Average rounds per fight = 6

    Pavlik
    36 fights = 276 ROUNDS
    BOXED 148 rounds = 86.11 KO %
Average rounds per fight = 4

That should give you people an objective refference on who hits harder.

    Pavlik !

that is a good pint but i think it would be more telling to see how many punches both pavlik and aa landed in there respective bouts to see who has bigger 'punch power'

take the miranda fights for instance does anybody have the punch stats fot the miranda fights?

they could prove me wrong but i think it should show aa landed a good deal less pucnhes then pavlik

Well thats a very good additional point of reference . . . after all miranda is the only common opponent between the two. :good

Can also just take Mirandas word for it who said Abraham was the hardest hitting fighter he had faced.
