Who hits harder Arthur Abraham or Kelly Pavlik

Even if Miranda was telling the truth . . . we can't take just one fight as an accurate point of refference to compare the two fighters' punching power. It has to be more than one.

I would add one thing to this in Pavlik's favor. His defense is better than he gets credit for. I wish I could do video editing. There is a spot in the Rubio fight where he ducks 3 or 4 punches in a row with slight head movement. Something his detractors claim he is incapable of. The camera is right behind Rubio and it is almost funny to watch him try and hit Pavlik. Kelly said Rubio hit him twice and never hurt him. Yeah, you saw more, compubox counted more, but Kelly didn't see those as 'landed' cuz they are not solid shots and don't mean anything. I think AA is in for a very tuff time with his shorter arms in this fight.

wow, i would say it pavlik...but AA is a great puncher bec he is willing to get hit just to land his atomic bomb...both for me have almost the same, one punch KO ability

 

According to a statement by a German boxing commentator AA's punches have been measured with a special machine or method (I don't know more about it) and the result was that he hits harder than anyone else in his weight class. Furthermore his punching power was measured higher than that of some average heavyweight fighters.

As I said I don't have any sources or details available - I can only remember the statement.
