Marciano. Beterbiev is a really heavy puncher, but he never knocked out a sub 200 lb fighter in as terrifying a manner as Marciano did Walcott.

On the flip side Marciano never stopped every fighter he faced,6 fighters heard the last bell. Marciano had 7 World title fights iirc and he stopped 5 of them,Beterbiev has had 8 World title fights so far and stopped all of them .

Marciano by a distance. It's harder to stop top hw's, they are not weight drained and as a result take a better punch so not comparable.even if Marcia was 190lb. Marciano on the heavy bag was also a beast. Could punch holes in it.

At 180+ pounds of solid muscle with lethal one punch KO power over durable heavyweights I'd have to say Marciano. Beterbiev likes to touch and break down opponents. Marciano was swinging for the bleachers on most of his shots.

You're really picking at straws by comparing KO percentages. Make Beterbiev fight 49 times and let's see if he comes out with 49 KO's. Marciano fought 10-12 times per year while coming up, and he was bound to go the distance at some point, even against stiffs. Beterbiev would be no different, it's too tight of a schedule for a fighter to always be firing at all cylinders. Beterbiev himself never fought more than 4 times a year, and only fought once in 2017, 2018, 2022 and 2023. it's a completely foreign schedule to him as far as professional Boxing goes.

And while Marciano did go the distance in one of his title fights, it was against Ezzard Charles, who he stopped in the rematch and who was a far better fighter than anyone Beterbiev ever faced as a pro.

Marciano and I'd say without question. Marciano stopped and beat up guys Beterbiev IMO wouldn't even make it 15 rounds with.

Hard to say. Marciano swung for the fences more and would fight out of that low crouch, while Beterbiev fights more upright, and his shots are a lot tighter, and more compact. It'd be interesting to see how Beterbiev's power carries up to the CW division. Someone like Briedis or Opetaia would be good yardsticks.

Is he going to the CW division? Even if he beats Bivol. He might just retire.

No, I don't think so. I'm just saying it'd be a good yardstick if he could knock out a decent CW.

Beterbiev is one of the top 10 hardest thudding punchers ever p4p. I bet every shot from him must hurt like a mofo

And how does all that explain why one is a harder hitter than the other ? You're just posting random stats.

Well firstly we’re comparing a HW to a LHW with the HW division known for its plethora of big punchers, those stats I posted are not random but stats from both fighters records and tbh Marciano might be 49/0 but his record is padded out with more stiffs as you called them than anything else. I’m sticking to what I posted and that’s Beterbiev is the harder puncher as he has managed to stop every opponent so far .

All the more for why Marciano hits harder. Marciano was knocking out sub 200 lb men, and Beterbiev has been fighting Light Heavyweights that are too small to fight at Cruiserweight. You do the math.
Yeah, all of which are random, because they have nothing to do with the subject. What does Marciano winning the title in his 42nd fight and Beterbiev winning it in his 14th have to do with who hits harder ? Or Marciano having more rematches in title bouts ? They literally don't say anything about the subject.
And again, that padding is the reason for why he doesn't have a perfect KO percentage. Beterbiev would not have stopped all his opponents if he had 49 fights either, especially if they were mostly CW sized. Does that perfect KO percentage mean that Beterbiev hits harder than Tyson, Louis, Shavers, Wilder and Foreman ? I don't think so. Marciano was stopping bigger and more durable men in a more brutal fashion. That's all there is to it.
