Berto definetely hits harder, he puts more power into his shots and commits to them much more than Floyd. But that does not mean **** when Floyd can pinpoint his shots when you dont see it coming right on your sweet spot. So basically, Floyd can be very intimidating, maybe even more because of this.

I think Floyd doesnt hit as hard but his timing is much better and he is much more accurate so can be just as devasting!

 

Who hits harder is Berto, who's punches cause more damage Floyd. A punch causes more damage when you don't expect them or catches you off guard. That's not to mention speed, timing and placement of punches that are also a factor. PBF offense > Berto

Floyd has more than enough pop in his punches to discourage guys with iron chins like Oscar and Mosley and to KO Hatton around his prime. He can hurt Ortiz so Ortiz game plan should be more than walk trough the punches
