Who hits harder: Kovalev or Stevenson?

Stevenson has more 1 punch KO power imo. Kovalev is a better puncher though and can set his punches up much better

 

Stevenson needs time to break down his opponents. His only One-Punch KO at elite level is Dawson.

Boone speaks very highly of Kovalev and said he's better than Ward and Stevenson. Also said he hit the hardest

 

I don't know about all that. I think Hopkins beats him, but Hopkins could also beat Ward and Stevenson, so I'm not sure if that tells us anything.

Hopkins is a better boxer than both Ward and Stevenson. I think Ward is smart enough to rough Hopkins up and beat him, and probably a good enough boxer to beat Kovalev.

Stevenson vs Kovalev is 50/50.

I guess I'd favor Ward over Stevenson.

 

IMO Stevenson's power is sorta like pac's in a sense that the speed adds alot to it. You don't really see it coming.

Kov on the other hand is more of a pure puncher.

 

By the eye test, I'd lean towards Kovalev. Freaky power in both fists. But I think Stevenson's top (T)KOs—while not as aesthetically pleasing—have been on a slightly higher level.
