Ask the question again when Ryan is able to stop a 140 pounder who's too big for the division.

How was Cruz a cherrypick? Cruz was a replacement. Plus, he is a decent fighter. Tough, heart and tenacity. A tough combination for many good fighters. A tough man to look good against. With your boxing knowledge, you must understand this.

He was a 23 year old fighter who really never fought a quality opponent. It was almost a cherry pick gone wrong. I think Cruz surprised Tank’s team because he was much better than expected. Cruz impressed me because he showed skills and often outboxed Tank. He didn’t wilt under the bright lights and I became a fan. It was technically not a cherry pick because he was a late replacement when the ****** opponent was bounced from the card. I bet Tank’s team thought the little 5’3” Cruz would be easy money for Tank. He turned out to be a tougher opponent than the original guy who should have never been chosen because he was another inexperienced C level guy. Cruz fought Tank evenly and I think he earned a draw even though the judges saw otherwise.

The only way to truly know
Is to have them compete in one of those stupid power punching machines contest…

which if I recall Haney beat García in … so yeah go figure.

Great Tank video. Is it now legal to punch a guy in the back of the head blatantly and hit him again when he’s on his knees? That should have been a DQ, clearly. Somehow the ref (Stevie Wonder) missed a blatant and dangerous foul. How is this good for boxing?

Haney is better at punching machines than Garcia! Punching people…not so much. Haney has pillow fists. Can’t understand it because he is so big and athletic. He has no power even against little guys.

i think joe Joe was right to say he needs to move up.

The weight cut is affecting his power on fight night.
He is Too big to keep boiling down.

like a Body builder after a weight cut with the major difference is body builders only need to pose & not fight grueling 12 round wars,
so the lack of energy is mostly a non factor for them. . . then if it were a performance based sporting event that tests conditioning after that weight cut like a boxing match does.

different sport gotta respect it as such.
Time to move up if he can’t get the Kambosos or Another Big fight.

    It was a double foul.

    He hit a downed opponent

He cracked him in the in the back of the head and he loaded up on that shot too

The KD wasn't even legit because the shot sailed round the back of Fonseca's head and cuffed him over

And then after double fouling Fonseca Twink went over to him and got on his hands and knees and mocked him.

And instead penalizing Tank for hitting a downed opponent and punching him full force in the back of the head and giving Fonseca five minutes to recover the corrupt as sin ref waved it off

Tank at super feather hit a lot harder p4p. At lightweight he might still, but he's the lesser overall fighter IMO, and not close to matching Ryan's speed.

What kind of scum could support that behavior? Even if someone liked Tank before the fight, what kind of worthless POS could support him after witnessing his dangerous and irresponsible behavior? Never mind, I know!

its really easy to hit the high scores on those machines with proper technique regardless of how hard you actually punch. i used to win bar bets all the time hitting on them. and i dont have exceptional power. it doesnt really measure how hard you hit the bag but how hard you can whip it into the sensor. hit it just below the center line with lots of follow through and that will create the greatest speed for it to slam the sensor. it cant measure torque because its so light and offers so little resistance. it just measures the speed you can create.
