Neither are to blame for a boring technical fight.

Wlad had shown for a long time he's very cautious and anybody could expect him to be even more cautious against Haye.
Haye has also shown to be a defensive counter puncher against really big heavyweights.

It was only to be expected, you can't blame a fighter for hyping up a fight as it fills his wallet.
And if you do, Wlad also deserves blame.
He promised a KO too, and just like Haye early in his career he has shown that he can be aggressive.

Either blame both for the boring fight or blame neither.

His toe was broken in sparring before the fight you idiot.

Haye 'rolled on the floor' when he was hugged/tugged/pulled

And you can't blame Haye for going to the floor when a 245 pound man is hanging on you

That was true for the first few rounds, until he start flopping around without even being touched.
    Hence the 8 count.

Wlad tried to pull him behind the head in one of the rounds and Haye exaggerated it (probably in order to have a point deducted from Wlad) and flopped down, it happened once

At no point did he hit the deck in fear of punches / because of punches

No, Haye flopped on more than one occasion. It got to be embarrassing/disgraceful

Sorry but no... the last few rounds until he got docked he started flopping without hardly being touched.

At first it was a semi clever tactic on his part to prevent Wlad from leaning on him but he overused and over dramatized it so much it got embarrassing.

I give Wlad crap for holding or being boring as well but once he gets a warning he usually stops.

Even most Brits agreed what Haye was trying to do was pathetic.

He flopped maybe not because of fear of punches but because he lunged in like a amateur, missed by a country mile and it was the safest course of action after.
Either that or he thought his antics were convincing enough to get some free points.

    Evidence?

He flopped down somewhere in the midrounds, then was half-wrestled down later on in the 11th and was deducted a point.

He stood right in front of Wlad and moved his head, start watching a different sport if you cant see that. Its not completely Haye's fault that Wladimir was too tentative to throw punches in bunches and too scared to stand and trade, hence why he took 5 steps back everytime Haye loaded up instead of countering with something hard. I know it must be hard to blame Wladimir just a little bit for the spectacle that night but Haye is not the only fighter who has a history for putting on stinkers.

Both big hitters! Haye hits harder though.

Haye wins easy weight to power wise.

    No it doesnt:lol:

How do you suggest Vitali should have approached Lewis then, he sure as **** isnt outboxing even that version of Lewis, his best bet was to outwork Lewis, his gameplan was spot on, he wasnt good enough to pull it off. The only robbery that would have occurred if the fight continued was the theft of Vitali's eye sight along with his career. You do know that if the fight continues his eye doesnt just magically get better and he doesnt just recuperate his lost energy. Vitali got the **** beaten out of him and almost lost an eye for his trouble, he has the same distinction as 31 other Lewis victims in that he couldnt make the distance, congratulations on your toughness Vitali, the fight goes another round or two and Vitali is sparko on the canvas via a big right hand.

How does a injury have anything to do with not good enough?
Cuts happen to everybody, its just part of the sport.

Lewis won and won legit but to suggest Vitali was not good enough? thats just plain ignorance.
    Anyone can get cut.

Vitali was obviously not good enough to defend his own face. There wasn't just one serious cut, just one serious enough to get the fight stopped.
