vitali is "accumulation" of punches.. wears u down then KO's you..... Wlad has the "One punch" KO power at any time . Vitali has power, no doubt about it, but not as much as Wlad anymore i hope that make sense
That's also true. Who's to say which punch was harder: A Tyson uppercut or the short right hand of Joe Louis? A straight right from Foreman or a Tommy Morrison left hook?
I agree with Chef. Vitali was always a powerful arm puncher because of his awkward stance. He's even more so now.
Yeah i understand the accumulation side, it just looks to me like he is still able to generate that KO power when he chooses too. Not as explosive as Wlad but still pretty close. You are probably right though and have first hand experience so, i appreciate the insight :good I was wondering you were in Vitali's camp right ? whats your take on people saying Vitali is slowing down.... personally i don't see it. He might not get people out of there as he used too but hes not losing a single round and still seems as accurate as ever.
oops, clicked on a stupid thread. read two pages of stupid thread. a lot of the posts were met with complete disdain by me. TOMORROW'S THREAD: who had the better physique, holyfield or butter bean? let the serious debate begin!!
vitali doesnt have as much power on any one shot but he has consistent power, every punch is hard, just not super hard KO shots
was interested cos of the upcoming vit/briggs fight....i think wlad hits harder for sure, but he has been very tentative since sanders starched him...
difficult to say, id say lennox because he was slightly faster than vitali. Speed = power. Close call tho
To be fair when your fighting good heavyweights( not like the mickey mouse bull **** that is on the scene now) those guys would rock you with punches if Lewis had a fragile chin why was his resume so good. If you look back at some of Lewis KO they were pretty brutal (big punches). Now Vitali has got explosive power but i dont think he banged as hard as lewis but i agree he was giving Lewis a kicking in that fight, but lewis had foolishly not trained properly for that fight and was over weight, he was right to retire when he did as he would not of won the rematch, I think a prime Lewis beats Vitali but we will never know....
Speed, core power and timeing + power just like when im smoking the ball 300 yards with my driver down the fairway....
