Vitaly did good the first 3 rounds, but then he was getting tired more and more. 5th and 6th round were Lewis big, he was throwing bombs, Vitaly didn´t even land a meaningfull punch, was holding and grabbing a lot. The momentum of the fight had clearly changed to Lewis.

 

Exactly what I was thinking. I actually think wlad has a harder 1 punch as well. Vitali seems to wear guys out more than anything else and it's rare that you see him get early ko's.

when he decides to not arm punch and use his body into punches it can be pretty brutal man.

 

lol he wont go the distance I saw him go all the way few years ago dude almost died lol. he left it all out there tho and final seconds knocked dude out the ring and he hit his head on the bell on the table.
he couldnt celebrate he sat down on his stool

 

lewis is one of the hardest punchers ever. period.
vitali has great power, but he hasn't one punch ko power.
wladimir is imo the hardest heavyweight puncher in the history

Vitali just isnt that type of puncher.

If you had a "shot for shot" tournament in HW history he would probably win that.

Lewis has looked far more devastating, against vastly superior quality opposition.
