Each to their own. I think around that time and not just that fight. wladimir was going for the KO more, and think he looked a more powerful.
Its very hard to say as I see posters say they feel Wilder has more power than Joshua but looking at Wilder and Joshuas respective fight with Molina thought Joshua looked more powerful.
It is often hard to tell

I never said he was, but I dont think schulz was a joke.
He had looked unfortunate to some against Foreman who although not prime was still decent, he looked unfortunate to some against Botha when undefeated and prime, he fought prime Moorer to a SD, fought Akinwande to a draw.
I would rate him above most of Wilders opponents and think you could argue him above them in depending how you would want to see it

Not you said it but the poster i was replying to before.

Schulz looked straight up awful before his fight with Wladimir and had intervertebral discs surgery, don't forget
about that, he finished his career after that fight and came back 7 years later to lose against Brian Minto.

Klitschko hits harder because he has better form.

Wilder hasn’t hit anyone of note yet so the comparisons a dud from the off!

I dont read much into a fighter coming back years later and losing that can happen even with a great like SR Leonard.
I cant say I recall him looking awful, but remember him as a steady competitor who was competitive durable type

Exactly. Virtually anybody could KO most of the stiffs Wilder's record is padded with. That's why they were selected.

Chis Byrd alone is trump's Wilders resume.. Shultz, Barrett, Botha, Mccline and Mercer all are better wins then Windmills,

Ortiz is Wilders best win a 40+ year old steroid cheat who was literally in such bad condition that he was almost declared medically unfit to fight yet still took wilder into deep waters.

Also if Mercer was washed up due to his age so is Ortiz.

Wilder with the single shot (although not by much), Klitschko has better power projection.

Wilder has harder straight right, klitschko harder every other punch

We are comparing the undisputed undefeated HW champion of 10 years to a paper US/Mexican HW champion of a few years.

Wladimir Klitschko is a proven bigger puncher than Wilder.

    Yup.

This "one right hand is all he needs" stuff is nonsense. I've seen guys shake off flush combinations from wilder several times.

His best ko was Szpilka but as you say szpilka is susceptible.

If guys like Molina and Duhaupas can slug with you toe to toe and they aren't getting immediately blasted out then your power isn't what it's made out.

Klitschko was less aggressive because he actually had the skill to win rounds but everything he landed flush was devestating

If Wlad swung like a wild caveman too he'd generate a lot more power.

I might be swayed on this. Who is the biggest meanest sonofabitch Wlad knocked out?
