Yes, Benn hit harder than the others mentioned. But, with no defense or any other skill to speak of, his time on top was rather short.
A bit of a harsh statement! You could say the same for Pavlik, he comes accross as rather one dimensional also! But I know where your coming from, he wasnt exactly a all rounder, he certainly had the "Equaliser" though
Abraham cannot be mentioned with these names. Jackson is in this class. Pavlik is not. He has thudding like power. Kinda like Trindad. He isn't going to change your world with one punch like Jackson and McClellan and Benn (who would stop people while down on the cards with a single punch, no follow up needed)
benn had a good defence he could bob real low and be cute and jab and move niehter of the above could do that.
Gerald MClellan hit harderl. He bullied Nigel Benn around the ring and kicked his ass in that fight. Pavlik isn't in the same league as the other two in terms of power.
Benn hits hardest of the ones mentioned -- yes, McClellan beat him, but that's because he had a lot more tools than just power. Jackson hit harder than any of the names on there.
lets not open this can of worms again...suffice to say...benn outfought, out hit and out hearted mclellan that night.....tragic tragic outcome.....but for brutality and sheer edge of the seat excitement, my favourite fight ever...and yes. of teh guys mentioned, benn..mclelland....big gap.......pavlik...
Is this a joke? McClellan was a ****ing MONSTER. His power is on another planet to Pavliks. Benn was a serious banger but even his power does not compare to McLellans.
